About Nour

Nour is completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Université de Montréal. She holds a DEC in Health Science from Collège de Maisonneuve and is a graduate of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at École internationale de Montréal.

  • French & Math Tutoring: Has worked primarily as a French and Mathematics tutor at the Westmount Public Library since September 2024.

  • Individualized Learning: Adapts her explanations and approach to the individual student rather than relying on a single teaching method.

  • Working with Children & Teens: Through her work as a facilities supervisor in several libraries, Nour has extensive experience interacting with children, teenagers, and families.

  • Making Difficult Subjects Approachable: Particularly enjoys helping students work through subjects they initially find frustrating or intimidating and breaking the material into more manageable steps.

Nour is engaging, adaptable, and encouraging. She believes that every student learns differently and focuses on finding the approach that works for each individual. She particularly enjoys turning subjects that once felt intimidating into something students can understand, manage, and even have fun with.
